SISTROM's Russian Innovation

Marble Made of Concrete

Russian company SISTROM has invented a unique patented technology of high-strength concrete (SISTROM-CONCRETE) which looks like natural marble. The properties of SISTROM-CONCRETE are even better than that of natural marble - it is stronger and more durable.

Wide range of SISTROM products from small lacy tiles to
big slabs
.

The appliance of SISTROM-CONCRETE is very wide - it can be used for interior or exterior finishing. There are more than 500 types of products which can be made of SISTROM-CONCRETE: floor tiles, stairs, window sills, countertops, railings, facing tiles, cladding facades, paving elements and much more. Moreover, the net cost of such products is very low - only standard raw materials are used for production - cement, sand, additives and pigments and standard equipment - concrete mixer and vibrating table. The production line can be launched within seven days. SISTROM-CONCRETE has the following characteristics:

 - Compressive strength from 60 to 100 MPa
 - Tensile strength at bend from 6 to 15 MPa
 - Frost resistance not less than 500 cycles (F500) (freezing at -20oC and defrosting at +20oC)
 - Water absorbing characteristic less than 3%
 - Wearability (abrasive resistance) less than 0,4 g/cm2

On the 29th of May 2016 SISTROM celebrates its 25th anniversary. Dmitry Roy, general manager of SISTROM, commented on the event: "In 25 years our company has concluded more than 1500 contracts for technology and equipment transfer. SISTROM-CONCRETE was produced in more than 70 countries, including USA, Holland, South Korea, Egypt, Nigeria, Ethiopia, and Senegal. Everybody who signs a contract with our company by the end of May 2016 will receive a special gift."

SISTROM was established in 1991 by Mr.Ivan Sitnikov, the patent owner and inventor. SISTROM technology is patented in Russia, Canada and the Czech Republic. In 1998, it was awarded with the Golden Medal at the Brussels Worldwide Invention Exhibition. During the Moscow exhibition "Domestic building materials", held in Manege in 2000, 2001, and 2002, SISTROM technology was awarded with three Golden quality marks - "Russiyskaya marka" - and the medal "Rossiskaya marka" for high-quality products. In September 2009, SISTROM technology was awarded a medal at the "IX International SALON of innovations and investments", Moscow, Russia.
